Palatine Hill is the centermost of the Seven Hills of Rome and is one of the most ancient parts of the city. It is often called “the first nucleus of the Roman Empire” and from this vantage point, one has a broad view over the ruins of the ancient Roman Colosseum and the Roman Forum.
